I. Comparison Between Teams and Teams V2

The Teams Scheduling Area in CareVision allows you to organise and manage your staff roster for any day, week, or month. Here, you can allocate bookings or services to Carers, adjust schedules, update, cancel, and manage services as needed.

Teams V2 is designed to support organizations growing with larger clients and increased bookings.

The main difference is that Teams V2 provides better performance and quicker loading times, but the way you use it and the way it looks are almost unchanged. Both versions are available, so you can choose to use Teams or Teams V2 for your scheduling needs.

IV. Manage Care Plan Changes with Published Bookings

When changes are made to a client’s Care Plan, such as adjustments to duration, start time, or additional services, Teams and Teams V2 handle the impact on published bookings differently.

A key difference is that Teams V2 introduces the Update action, allowing you to modify existing published bookings to reflect the latest Care Plan changes, which is not possible in Teams.

Scenario: A coordinator updates a client’s Care Plan (changes the service duration or start time). There are already published bookings for this client.
  1. The coordinator updates the Care Plan and saves the changes.

2. A confirmation window appears, listing published bookings impacted by the change.

3. Available Actions: If you select Retain, the affected bookings will remain unchanged and stay as originally scheduled.

  1. If you choose Cancel, the affected bookings will be cancelled, and new bookings will be preloaded automatically based on the updated Care Plan.

  1. If you select Update, the affected bookings will be directly modified so their details such as duration, start time, or services, match the new Care Plan.

4. You can apply these actions to multiple bookings at once, streamlining the update process.

The following table summarizes how each version manages published bookings when a Care Plan is updated.
