Scheduling Page Filters

Why do we need the filters in the scheduling area

When the size of the care organisation is great, there will be a huge amount of service bookings planned everyday. It is easy to get lost and time-consuming to do scheduling with detailed and specific requirements, when auto-scheduling is not what you are looking for. To make it easier to find certain bookings in a selected time periods, CareVision has designed and enabled different types of features to provide a better user experience.

Key filters in the scheduling area

Although there are already a group of filters built in as a Filter button, there are also other features you can use to group bookings in an organised way and find the bookings you are looking for. They are Jump to features, Filters, Zoom, and Date. If you are in interested in the other features, please read this article: Guide to the Teams Scheduling Area.

This section will talk about the Filters only. The filters that are built in on the CareVision Management Portal are listed below:
  1. Filter
    1. By Client
    2. By Service Categories
    3. By Services
    4. By Care Manager
    5. By Rostering Consultant
    6. By Business Development Consultant
    7. By Department
    8. By Region
    9. By Role
    10. Include services suspended by leave
    11. Include services for Lead Clients

By Client

Filter by client is a commonly used filter to display only the selected clients. You can either scroll down or type the first letters of the client's name in the Search Client field to find the names and tick them. A quick button "Select All" is also there for you to utilise. For example, if you need to show all except for one client, you can first click on Select All and then deselect that one client. By doing so, the scheduling area will show all bookings excluding that of the selected client's.

By Service Categories

Filter by service categories is another way. It only shows the bookings of the selected service categories. The service categories were pre-created during configuration, and one booking is only matched with one service category. This filter can be used for staff who provide one kind of service to multiple clients, and it can also be used for statistics checking.

By Services

Filter by services is very similar as filer by service categories. Since multiple services can be of one service category. The options of filter by service categories are technically often fewer than filter by services. This filter can be used for staff who provide one kind of service to multiple clients, and it can also be used for statistics checking.

By Care Manager

Filter by care manager is a filter used specifically for care managers, to see the bookings that are under they care. It is a filter of responsibility.

By Rostering Consultant

Filter by rostering consultant is similar as the filter by care manager. It is a filter of responsibility.

By Business Development Consultant

Filter by business development consultant is also similar as the filter by care manager. It is a filter of responsibility.

By Department

The department in filter by department refers to the client's department but the staff member's department. Filter by department is an advanced version of filter by client. It still shows the bookings of the selected clients, but with the department sorted out, choosing a department with "filter by department" equals choosing every client in the same department one by one with "filter by client".

By Region

Filter by region is similar as the filter by department. Filter by department is an advanced version of filter by client. It still shows the bookings of the selected clients, but with the department sorted out, choosing a department with "filter by department" equals choosing every client in the same department one by one with "filter by client".

By Role

This is depending on how the organisation roles are set up on all staff profiles and eventually she only revealed hhalf, as on and yell.

Other

There are also 2 tick boxes at the boottom of the filtering page. If you tick them, the corresponding rule will apply:
  1. Include services suspended by leave
  2. Include services for Lead Clients

Filtering Shift Patterns

Shift Patterns are treated separately in Scheduling page. We only need to use the below filters to narrow down our Shift Patterns

To successfully filter or look for the Shift Pattern, make sure that the Associated Entities are added to the Shift Pattern setup. See below article for more information.
