Account Access and Security

CareVision provides authorized users with access to the platform based on their assigned roles and permissions. Secure login practices protect personal and vital information from unauthorized access.
This topic describes how to access CareVision, use the correct platform environment, protect your account and get support for access or security issues.

I. Accessing Your Account

CareVision supports the following sign-in methods.

A. Username and Password

Enter your assigned username and password on the CareVision sign-in page.

You must also tick the checkbox to accept the displayed terms and conditions before signing in.

Then, click Login.

B. Sign In with Microsoft

If your organisation uses SSO, select Sign in with Microsoft and follow your organisation’s authentication process. You also need to complete multi-factor authentication.

Your organisation’s system administrator or IT team manages access to Microsoft SSO.

C. First-Time Account Access

When your organisation invites you to join CareVision, you will receive an email containing: 

  • A link to the CareVision portal

  • Your username

  • A temporary password

To access your account for the first time:

1. Open the invitation email.

2. Click the link to the CareVision portal: https://webportal.carevision.com


3. Enter the username and temporary password provided in the invitation.

4. Tick the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions.


5. Click Login.



6. To keep your account secure, we recommend changing your temporary password after your first login. See the next section for instructions.

7. After changing your password, you will be logged out of CareVision. Sign in again using your username and new password.

1. In the left menu, click My Account.
2. Click Change Password.
3. Enter your current password.
4. Enter your new password. We recommend changing your password to a strong, unique password that is secure and memorable. 
5. Verify your new password by entering it again.
6. Click Submit.
Notes
Note: Changing your password will log you out. We recommend completing this step on the portal before logging in on mobile to avoid extra steps.

Access CareVision Mobile Plus App
1. Download and install the CareVision Mobile Plus App on your Android or iOS device.
2. Open the mobile app.
3. Enter your username and password. 
NotesNote: Your username and password are the same for the CareVision portal and mobile app.
4. Click Login.

Notes Note: Your organisation determines whether you can access the CareVision portal, mobile app or both based on your role and permissions. If you cannot access one of these options, contact your organisation’s system administrator to check your account settings. 

II. CareVision Environments

CareVision has separate environments for live work, testing and other controlled activities. Most users work only in Production unless their organisation provides access to another environment.

Check the environment before viewing, entering or changing information.

Note: Check before making changes: Work completed in Sandbox or Staging  does not automatically appear in your organisation’s live Production environment. Do not enter real information into a test environment unless instructed to do so.

III. When to Contact Support

1. Contact Your Organisation’s System Administrator First
Contact your organisation’s system administrator first for:
  • Creating or activating a user
  • Correcting a registered email address
  • Changing a user’s role or permissions
  • Microsoft SSO or multi-factor authentication issues
  • Access controlled by your organisation’s IT policies
2. Contact CareVision Support
Contact CareVision Support when:
  • Username or password recovery does not work.
  • Your administrator confirms that your account is configured correctly, but you still cannot sign in.
  • You see an unexpected error on the CareVision sign-in page.
  • Several users cannot access CareVision at the same time.
  • The platform appears unavailable.
3. Information to Provide
When contacting CareVision Support, provide:
  • Your name and organisation
  • The environment you are trying to access
  • Whether you are using the web portal or mobile app
  • Your sign-in method
  • The exact error message
  • When the problem began
  • A screenshot, if appropriate
Notes
Important: CareVision will never ask you to send your password by email, chat or through a support ticket.
