In the context of CareVision, clients are individuals or participants who receive services, support, or care managed through the CareVision platform. Clients are the central entities within the system, and all core functions such as care planning, bookings, funding management, and communication are organized around them.
Care Recipients: Individuals receiving aged care, disability support, or community services, including those funded under major Australian support programs.
Family Members or Guardians: Authorized persons who may access client records or participate in care coordination on behalf of the primary client.
Clients in CareVision may receive services funded through the following sources, including but not limited to:
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS): For clients with permanent and significant disabilities.
Home Care Packages (HCP): Government-subsidized support for clients who are older Australians wishing to live independently.
Supported Independent Living (SIL): NDIS funding for clients with disabilities to live with support in shared or individual accommodation.
Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP): Entry-level support services for clients who are older people wanting to remain at home.
Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) Programme: Goal-oriented, time-limited care to help clients restore independence.
Support at Home (SAH): In-home care for clients to help them live independently at home for longer. This will replace HCP and STRC from 1 November 2025.
