What it means for Clients to be "Exit Initiated", "Exit Processing", and "Exit Completed"
In contrast to the
Commence Exit Process article, this article highlights frequently asked questions regarding each of the Client Status pertaining to processing their exit and side effects to data relating to them.
When clients are on "Exit Initiated"
At this stage of the exit process, staff members may proceed to process a client's exit by logging case notes and conversing with their clients. These case notes will be essential in archiving information about the client.
When clients are on "Exit Processing"
This step already affirms that the client is sure to leave the services and is already closing out some of the services that he/she used to avail of. Staff members are assumed to have already conversed with the client and prepared closing procedures (depending on the services being provided).
This process also assists in closing contracts and accounting for quotes for the client. It may take 30 days to 75 days before the final mark of exit completion
When clients are "Exit Completed"
On this phase, clients are marked as "Exit Completed" as their status. Clients with "Exit Completed" can no longer avail of the services & benefits that staff members may offer. It is assumed that all services and information related to them are set to "Archived" status. Any "Archived" data pertaining to the client with the "Exit Completed" status will enter a "read-only" status. This helps with maintaining a historical figure of data within the system should these need to be referenced in the future.
Read-Only data pertains to immutable data and should/can no longer be edited. This is to maintain an accurate/precise historical article piece for future referencing and reporting
Some of these items to take note of when the client has completed their exit process are:
- Client Connections
- Contacts
- Client Groups
- Bookings
- Services
