Client Groups Section in Client Profile
The Client Groups section in the Client Profile is used to classify and manage important information about a client based on categories defined by your organisation. These classifications help organise clients based on their care needs, medical requirements, funding rules, status, or other operational specifications.

| Group Sets | Group Sets are categories that organise related Client Groups under a single classification type.
For example, a Group Set named Need for Interpreter is used to indicate whether a client requires an interpreter for communication.

| Client Groups | Client Groups are individual classification options within a Group Set that are used to categorize clients based on specific attributes. If multiple options apply for a Group Set, each option must be created as a separate Client Group.
For example, within the Need for Interpreter Group Set, three Client Groups may be created: Yes, No, and Unknown.

| Required Minimum Data Set | The Required Minimum Data Set refers to a collection of essential client information that must be recorded for compliance, reporting, and operational purposes.
This data helps organisations meet government reporting requirements and capture key metadata about clients that can support reporting and workflow processes.

To access this section:
Open the Client Profile.
Select Client Groups.
Note: If a client’s situation changes, the existing Client Group must first be ended by adding an End Date, and then the client should be added to the new Client Group with the same date as the previous End Date.Client Groups section
View Options
Switch between Active, All, or Past views to display relevant groups or group sets.
Search
Use the search bar to find a group or group set by name.
Required Data Export Filter
Use the Required Data Export dropdown to filter groups based on the linked funding export.
Required Data Status Filter
Use the Required Data Status dropdown to filter by All, Missing, or Complete.
Refresh
Click the refresh icon to reload and update the displayed data.
Join Client Group
Select “Join Client Group” to add a client to a group or group set.
Client Groups Summary Cards
Cards display key group information for quick reference.
Required Minimum Data Set
Shows the status of required data across groups.
Active Groups
Displays the number of currently active groups.
Past Groups
Displays the number of past group
The Required Minimum Data Set section displays essential client information needed for compliance, reporting, and operations. In this section, you can assign the client to a group set, add a join date, or remove them as needed.
Client Group Memberships
Displays the groups or group sets where the client is a member.
