Balance Sources Explained
Overview
Clients would often, if not always, want to view their statement of account. Since balances on a client's account may come from different sources, it would be easier for an Organisation to have a way to modify this on the management portal. The Balance Source page of the management portal allows Organisations to define where the client's statement's opening balance comes from.

It is recommended that Organisations create Balance Sources based on the Budget or Type Reference data from Settings -> Funding Source Templates
Usage
You can view, modify an existing balance source, or create a new balance source from the Balance Sources page under Settings of the management portal.

Steps
To View, Modify existing or Create New Balance Source:
- Go to Settings -> Balance Sources

- List of Balance Sources is displayed

- To view specific and/or modify it, click on the name of the balance source and a popup will appear. You can modify the name from there

- To add a new balance source, click on "Create Balance Source" button on the top right corner of the management portal

- A popup window similar to what you see when you edit a balance source will appear. Input the name of the new balance source and click on Save button

- It is recommended that Organisations create Balance Sources based on the Budget or Type Reference data from Settings -> Funding Source Templates

- Balance Sources displayed on Client Profile -> Balance section

- Balance Source dropdown field when creating or modifying Balance in Client Profile -> Balance.
