  2. After:
    1. 6 fields have been retained
    2. Quote Start Date and Quote End Date fields have been removed. Quotes will now automatically use the funding source start and end dates on both Mobile and Portal.

The Quote Header has been updated with the following fields.

Total Balance Section

The Total Balance section has been removed, including the Balance as of display.

Cost Breakdown

  1. Before: Fund Sources, Fees and Charges, and Recurring Services sections displayed costs across multiple time periods: Per Day, Per Week, Per Fortnight, Per Month, Per Quarter, Per Year
  2. After: These sections now display Totals only on both mobile and portal.
Fund Sources Section

Fund Sources Section

You can now view total spending on services in the Fund Sources section. The system shows a card with total funding, less spending, less care management, and total remaining balance so you can track how much funding the client has and what remains after quoted services.

You can select more than one funding source as default in a quote and set date ranges to control when each funding source applies. When you add services, the system checks service dates and applies the correct funding source based on matching date ranges. See Multiple Default Funding Source in a Quote.

The system supports an Exclude from Calculations? tick box so you can choose if a funding source is included in quote calculations. This ensures only relevant funding sources are used when creating quotes.

Under the Funding Sources section, the Funding Period field now includes a new option called Quarterly Date. This option also appears on Funding Source templates and Client Funding Source.

The Period Start and Period End fields are now used as the basis for calculations across funding sources, fees, recurring services, and once-off services. These fields are automatically generated by the system and cannot be edited. The Period Start and Period End will automatically align with the selected value in the Funding Period field.

Recurring Services Section

Recurring Services Section

You can now see the Externally Delivered? checkbox when you add a service in a quote for a client.

The system now checks sleep period duration in the quote modal for recurring services and once off items. The system shows “The time or duration entered is not within the whole booking duration” if, for example, a service runs from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and you enter a sleep period of 10 hours. In this example, the service runs from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, which is 8 hours, so entering a sleep period of 10 hours exceeds the booking duration.

You can now quickly duplicate an existing recurring service within a quote. Click the Copy Recurring Item button next to a service, and a new identical item will be created.

Funding Status Flags

In the Recurring Services and Once Off Items sections, the following flags have been added:

  • Active Funding: Indicates that a valid funding source is linked and falls within the defined funding period, allowing the service or item to be billed.
  • No Active Funding: Indicates that no funding source is linked, meaning the service or item is not covered for billing.
  • Expired Funding: Indicates that the linked funding source is outside its valid period, so it can no longer be used for billing.

For services quoted for a client, the Subtotal column now displays an effective date range based on the Starts On and Ends On fields. If no funding source is selected, no dates will be displayed.

Once Off Items Section

Once Off Items Section

Ad hoc bookings are now automatically retrieved and aligned with the funding source within the selected funding period.

Fees and Charges Section

Fees and Charges Section

Subtotal Column
  1. Before: The Subtotal column was not displayed.
  2. After: The Subtotal column is now available and displays calculated subtotals for each fee item.
Funding Summary

Funding Summary

You can now view an updated Funding Summary section. The system reflects the latest calculation changes so totals match your quote.
