How to Update NDIS Pricing in the Portal

NDIS has released Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document effective 24 November 2025.  The rates for Art and Music Therapy will change from $193.99 to $156.16 per hour. This guide describes the steps on how you can update your rates in the portal.

1. In the left navigation pane, click Setting > Billing Categories.

2. Check if the following Billing Categories already exist:

  • 15_0118 - Early Childhood Intervention Professional - Art Therapist
  • 15_0128 - Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Art Therapist
  • 15_0118 - Early Childhood Intervention Professional - Music Therapist
  • 15_0128 - Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Music Therapist

3. If these categories exist, open the existing billing category, click Edit.

4. Set the Effective from field to November 24, 2025.

5. Set the Unit field to Hours.

6. Under Draft Rate Sets, change the value of the Amount field to 156.16 to reflect the new rate provided by NDIS. In this example, only the default rates for the applicable time period would be used.

7. Click Save.

8. Click Publish.

9. Scroll down and click Save again. The billing category should be updated as expected to reflect the new rate. Repeat the same steps to update the remaining billing categories mentioned above.
