Travel Time Between Bookings

Travel time between bookings are being calculated to help with allocating field carer professionals. Field care professionals may be assigned to multiple bookings on a single day and it is essential to calculate if the service requested can be delivered on time. The locations added in the booking details is used to calculate the estimated travel times between bookings. 

The system computes the duration of the fastest route between the location of the first booking and the location of the next booking using their coordinates.
If the previous booking has an End Location, the estimated travel time will be computed by the Time between previous booking's End Location and the next booking's Start Location.

If the prior booking does not have an End Location the estimated travel time will be computed by Time between the previous booking's Start Location and next booking's Start Location.

How to Identify Insufficient Travel Time Between Bookings

Bookings with insufficient estimated time travel between bookings will be displayed as:



The first booking's Start Location is in VIC                                                                                                                       While the next booking's Start Location is in QLD
