Task Types and Task Categories
What are Task Types?
Task types are customizable items that you can create to request for and manage tasks that are not included in the list of service offerings. In creating these task types, it is helpful to assess how your teams use the tasks action board where you can assign specific actions for response and completion.
These task types can be anything from sending documents and reports to requesting a callback to a family member. You could create task types for certain queues, or make reports on certain activity or lack of activity.
Task types are created within your CareVision profile's Settings.
What are Task Categories?
Task categories are a fixed list of items used to specify what kind of task or shopping item is being created. These categories include:
- Admin task
- Appointment booking
- Beauty
- Beverages
- Body care
- Cleaning
- Condiments
- Confectionery
- Feedback
- Food
- Frozen items
- Fruits
- Governance
- Household
- Housework
- Kitchen
- Laundry
- Meat
- Medical
- Pet food
- Policy update
- Reminder
- Repairs and maintenance
- Request
- Review
- Schedule changes
- Services
- Skin care
- Staff
- Staff meeting
- Storage
- Toiletries
- Transportation
- Vegetables
Unlike task types, there is is currently no way to customize task categories nor is there a way to add or remove items from the list without requesting through your Customer Success Team. We will be evaluating this as a self service option for the near future.
