Sandbox Android APK

Sandbox Android APK

What is the Sandbox Android APK?

An APK file is an android application file which is used to install an application directly on your Android Mobile Device.

The Sandbox version of this is made available for project teams for testing and clients wishing to try out new functionality on the Sandbox environment.

Download, Install and Login

To get started using the Sandbox Android APK file you need to download the file attached to this article to your Android Mobile Device.

On your Android mobile device you may need to allow for the app install from unknown locations, or from this location in the settings menu. Depending on your mobile device these steps vary slightly, but you should be able to search your settings for 'install' and find a setting which allows for apps to be installed from unknown locations.

Once enabled you can locate the APK in your file downloads on the device. You should tap on the file and you will be prompted to install the application. Note that some devices do not allow 2 applications by the same name to be installed. You may need to delete the Production application from your device to use this.

To login you will need to use your login for the Sandbox environment, in most cases this is the same as the login on the production environment, but it may vary if you have changed either since the last time the production environment was sync'd. If you need to reset your Sandbox password you can do so using the forgot password on the sandbox app.
