Allocated and Published booking

What happens to the Published Bookings if there are changes in the Client Care Plan?

If any changes are made to the existing Care Plan, such as Duration, Start Time, or Additional Services, a confirmation window will appear after clicking the Save button. This window will prompt the user to verify how to proceed with the Published Bookings.

Impact of Care Plan Changes on Published Bookings

When there are changes to a client's Care Plan, the system will prompt users to take appropriate action regarding any published bookings that may be affected. Here’s how the process works:
  1. RETAIN:
    • No Impact: Selecting this option means that no changes will be applied to the affected booking(s), and they will remain as originally scheduled.
  2. UPDATE:
    • Modify Booking(s): The system will update the affected booking(s) to align with the latest changes in the Care Plan. This ensures that the care provided matches the new requirements specified in the Care Plan.
  3. CANCEL:
    • Cancel: The system will cancel the affected booking(s) and preload new booking(s) based on the updated Care Plan details.

Processing Multiple Bookings

Additionally, if multiple bookings are impacted by a Care Plan change, the system allows users to process all affected bookings simultaneously using any of the options above. This feature ensures that the care delivered is always consistent with the latest Care Plan, providing flexibility and minimizing manual adjustments.

Service Review

The Service Review section in Carevision has been enhanced with a new filter feature, allowing for more precise verification and management of bookings. The available filter options include:
  1. Published Bookings Only:
    • Displays only those bookings that have been published, helping users focus on confirmed and active schedules.
  2. Both Unpublished and Published Bookings:
    • Includes all bookings, both those that have been Preloaded and published, offering a comprehensive view of the scheduling status.
  3. Unpublished Preloaded Care Plan Items Only:
    • To show bookings that have been Preloaded but have not yet been published, allowing users to review and finalize these bookings before the bookings go live.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What happens when a client has an existing Care Plan and a new quote is created using the same funding source and dates, but with changes or additional services?

Answer: When a new quote is generated under these conditions, the system will automatically preload the latest changes from the Care Plan, ensuring that the most up-to-date information is included.

Answer: Yes, you will be able to control this feature yourself in the future. However, for now, please contact Carevision Support to manually enable or disable it for you.

Question: Will Teams v1 still be available?

Answer: Yes, Teams v1 will remain in the system, and you can continue to use it for rostering.

Question: What happens if two rosterers publish the same booking from v1 and v2 simultaneously?

Answer: Our duplicate detection system will immediately flag these bookings in real-time, preventing any conflicts or unwanted duplicates.
