Media Categories

What are Media Categories?

A Media Category may represent a type of content you publish. It may differentiate team updates for your staff and community updates for you clients.

They serve two purposes:
  1. To organize your content such as articles & video content
  2. And, if you have the advanced user experience design, helps customize & modify the mobile application user experience for your different user types



How to create Media Category

You can add as many Media Categories as you like, and you can may arrange them in any order you need them to appear. You may add icons, logos, and background colors (we recommend neutral background colours for the best look on the apps).  These can be named accordingly as you see fit. If you wish to disable or archive these Media Categories, you may set the status
  1. Login to the Carevision Webportal
  2. Under the SETTINGS menu tab; select MEDIA CATEGORIES
  3. You should now be able to see the list of Media Categories
  4. On the upper right corner of the list, click on + CREATE NEW MEDIA CATEGORIES
  5. A pop-up will show up with form for you to fill.
  6. Click SAVE once you are finished
  7. If you wish to hide or archive these Media Categories from being used, you may set the status to "Archive" or "Hidden"
