At Care Vision, the safety and privacy of our users, particularly staff, is of paramount importance. We understand there are concerns surrounding location tracking and would like to provide clarity on how Care Vision handles geo-location data within our application.

The Care Vision app incorporates geo-location functionality to enhance safety protocols and streamline operational efficiency. However, it's important to emphasize that our approach to geo-location is strictly limited to specific functionalities aimed at ensuring the well-being of the user and the smooth functioning of our operations.

1. Check-In/Check-Out Verification: The Care Vision app utilises geo-location data to verify and pin the location of staff presence during designated check-in and check-out times. This measure is implemented to ensure accurate attendance records and to enhance workplace safety by confirming staff whereabouts.
2. No Continuous Tracking: It's crucial to understand that the Care Vision app does not engage in continuous tracking of staff locations outside of designated check-in/check-out times. We do not monitor or record staff movements beyond the scope of shift management requirements.
   The only exception to this is if a user chooses to track their travel via the "track travel" option attached to each service. If the user chooses this option the app will track the duration of the user's journey, including: location, trip duration and kilometers driven. Kilometers can be entered manually for each service, should the user not wish to share their geo location data via "track travel. 
   
3. Security Measures: Care Vision is committed to maintaining the highest standards of data security and privacy. All geo-location data collected by our app is  stored securely on our servers. Access to this data is strictly limited to authorized personnel for administrative purposes only.
4. Compliance with Regulations: We adhere rigorously to data protection regulations and industry best practices to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of our users' personal information. Our practices align with global privacy standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
